Laurel's Northern Lights: NEW AREA!!!!

Thats right folks, i was SHOCKED to find out i am being TRANSFERRED!!!!!!! How do i feel about this? well let me paint a picture for you.

It was a cold and stormy night, sorta. It was snowing and it was sure as heck cold haha. I got my call and stood out in the snow unable to move, crying my eyes out and starring at the plum colored snowing sky. Sister Faupula too, was shocked. We thought for sure that we wouldn't be whitewashed! There are so many people that we have over such a long period of time strengthened, and gleaned information about, and slowly built trust to. People that do not build trust easily. It was so sad because a couple people, as much as we tried to point out that this is Christ's work, not ours, have said that we were the only ones that they would open their door to and they don't intend on opening it again. I just felt there was so much more work for us to do there!

After mourning for a while, i really gained a testimony that it was right. And where am i going? PALMER AND WASILLA! to a ward called the Colony ward, my compy is gonna be Sister Dill. :) I am really really excited. I know that when we follow the Lord, that even though me may lead us down some interesting paths, difficult paths, unexpected paths, they are always the ones that are filled with the most joy. My birthday was wonderful. The Zone surprised me with cake and tea!

haha I love them. I will miss living with Sister Faupula, Sister Honey and Sister Moore too, as we have really become a tight little quatro. But i am really stoked. Sorry this, like every other email is totally sporadic, but i love you and i love the Lord and i know that as you try to understand HIS will for you instead of YOURS your life will open up. Its a lot more comforting to have the supreme Ruler of the universe guiding your life and the lives of those around you rather than trying to rely on your own intellect. Try it. You'll like it ;)
